Case studies: Upgrading a brewery in the French Alps

Customer Customer

IBEX BEER is a French brewery established in 2014 that has experienced continuous growth ever since. 2023 saw them move to a new building called THE WOOD YARD in the heart of the French Alps, where they have installed their production area and a restaurant.

The brewery has 10 different craft beer lines that produce over 3500 Hl a year, with a style focused on hops and a unique flavour for each one.

Project Project

Due to the need to relocate to a new production and customer service facility, the client required a larger, automated plant with higher output. This new facility would enable them to increase production while maintaining product consistency and repeatability, without compromising their creativity and ongoing pursuit of innovation.

They also wanted to significantly reduce manual malt handling, making the operators' jobs easier, minimising risks and avoiding potential human error.

Consequently, INOXPA decided to provide a complete compact 24 Hl per batch system. This system encompasses malt milling and transportation, brew house, and the management of steam and refrigeration systems for the four supplied fermenters.
